Each leather handbag is made with undyed Italian leather which goes through a 7-step process of vegetable dying, rinsed in large washing machines, air dried for 7 days in our factory in Italy. Finally the bags are ironed and moisturized. It is a long journey but in the end, this process develops a beautiful rich patina with deep color.
In the washing process, characteristics such as small lines and marks of the natural leather shows through. Each bag has unique qualities and gets better with time. Even the hardware will get a vintage antique brass finish. We say they are perfectly imperfect.
